Thaddeus S. Saj

West Springfield, Thaddeus �Ted� Saj, 89, passed away Saturday July 25, 2015 at a local nursing home. Born in Chicopee, May 4, 1926, son of the late John and Sophie (Kalisz) Saj. Ted worked for the Moore Dropforging Company in Chicopee and also the John Deere Company in West Springfield. He was a proud US Army veteran during WWII serving from 1944-1946. Ted was a communicant of St Thomas Church and a member of the American Legion Post 452 in Chicopee. His beloved wife Gladys (Kapinos) Saj died in 2000. He leaves his daughter, Deborah Gagnon and her fianc� John Leclair, sister, Stef Yvon and her husband Ray, grandson, Michael Gagnon, great granddaughters Olivia and Sophia Gagnon all of West Springfield, godson, John Farrell and his wife Christine of Westfield. The funeral will be held Friday July 31, 2015 at 9am from the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am from St Thomas Church and burial to follow at St Thomas Cemetery.
