Theodore W. Tenzar

West Springfield, Theodore W Tenzar, 92, passed away Monday November 27, 2017. Born July 17, 1925, he was the son of the late Frank and Bertha Tenzar. In 1942 he joined the US Navy and served in the Pacific during WWII. In 1946 upon his return home he worked for Bakers Commodities and Chicopee Provision until retirement. He was recently the Parade Marshall in the Memorial Day Parade in West Springfield. Ted leaves his beloved wife of 70 years, Ann (Swiderski), his sons, Michael and his wife Cecile of Manchester, NH and Henry of West Springfield, his three grandsons and two great granddaughters. A funeral home service will be Wednesday at 10am from the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield with burial to follow in the Mass Veterans Cemetery in Agawam. A calling hour will be from 9-10 on Wednesday. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the entire Hospice Staff Feeding Hills Office.
