Obituary
Theresa Angelina (Cincotta) Borkosky entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 4, 2022. She was born in 1933 to the late Lena (Santispirto) and Louis Cincotta on her father’s birthday, April 30th, and was raised on Cincotta Farms in Feeding Hills. She was married for 61 years to her late husband David T. Borkosky, who predeceased her in 2013. They lived in West Springfield and raised their three children; David, Cindy and Dennis. Theresa worked hard nurturing, teaching, protecting and loving them, always making sure everything was just so. She took tremendous pride in keeping her house in order. She loved cooking, cleaning and ironing our clothes, painstakingly brought in from the clothesline (remember those). She was an avid square dancer, enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and going to the casinos, but her favorite pastime and greatest talent was making puzzles. She was predeceased by her 5 brothers; Joseph, Leo, Felix, Louie and Manuel and leaves 2 sisters in law; Lucy and Laura Cincotta, 5 granddaughters, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her faithful friends; Laurie, Winnie, Sue, Ann, Marylyn, Kathleen and Phyllis. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Toomey O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield. Terry’s Funeral will be Wednesday at 10 AM at Toomey O’Brien Funeral Home to Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine St., West Springfield, followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Terry’s name may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of New England, 650 Suffolk St., Suite 405, Lowell, MA 01854-3694.
