Thomas W. Bryant, Jr., 90, passed away Tuesday at Wingate of West Springfield. He was born in Springfield to the late Beatrice (Foley) and Thomas Bryant and lived there until moving to W. Spfld. in 1998. Thomas proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Springfield. Thomas worked for Gilbert & Barker, Hamilton Standard and ended his career at Titeflex. He was a family man. Tom enjoyed the beach, traveling, especially cruises, dancing and playing cribbage. He was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, serving on the Bishops Honor Guard. Thomas was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jane (Griffin) Bryant in 2004. He leaves his loving children, James Bryant and his wife Allison, Judy Cote and her husband Thomas, John Bryant and his husband Robert, Jeffrey and his fianc� Janet Foster and Jay and his wife Martha, his grandchildren, Brian Cote, Michael Cote, Somerset Bryant, Paige Terry, Paisley, Piper, Christopher, Timothy and Jennifer Bryant, his great-grandchildren, Madison Cote, Thomas Terry and Hunter Bryant, his brother, Joseph Bryant and sister-in-law, Patricia M. Griffin. Thomas�s funeral will be Saturday, 12:30PM at St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine St, W. Spfld. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 11AM-12Noon at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld. Burial will be private in St. Thomas Cemetery at a later date.
