Obituary
Timothy M. Malone of Agawam, MA passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021. Tim was predeceased by his wife, Denise (Jones) Malone, his parents, George Malone and Margaret (Moriarty) Malone and brother, Neal Malone. He was born in Springfield on August 11, 1958 and graduated from Cathedral High School and Western New England University. Tim spent 33 years in the pharmaceutical industry, 22 as a Sr. Executive Sales Representative with Glaxo Smithkline and most recently as a Respiratory Business specialist with Boehringer Ingelheim. Tim was a passionate fan of all New England sports teams and loved coaching his children’s sports teams. He also had a passion for all music, but particularly the Grateful Dead. He is survived by his son, Matthew, of Agawam, his daughter, Lauren, of Medford, his sister, Joedy (Malone) Cahill of Southwick, his nephew, Rory of NY, his niece, Moira of S. Portland, Me., his niece, Caitlin of Brooklyn, NY and numerous cousins and close friends. Tim’s Funeral Mass will be held Thursday July 1, 2021 at 11:30AM at the St. Thomas Church with burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 10-11AM prior to the mass at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St. West Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Melanoma Research Alliance or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
