Obituary
Velma T. Bernard, 88, passed away Fri Dec 17, 2021. She was born July 25, 1933 to the late Antonio and Rose Rossi. Velma lived most of her life in West Springfield and was the assistant treasurer and office manager for the Bay State Elevator Company. She loved to golf and was a member at Shaker Farms Country Club. Velma was a longtime communicant of the former St. Ann’s Church in West Springfield. She was predeceased be her husband Edward Bernard and her brother Raymond Rossi. Velma leaves behind several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held WEDS 10 AM at Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in her name to the Shriners’ Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Spfld, MA 01104
