West Springfield- Virginia F. (McCarthy) Kallock, 86, passed away Sunday at Heritage Hall East in Agawam. She was born in Boston to the late Ruth (Moberg) and Joseph McCarthy. Virginia was a graduate of Mount St. Joseph's Academy in Boston. She worked as a Claims Representative at former St. Paul Insurance Company for years. She moved down to Washington, DC during WW II where she worked and met her husband Albert. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church, but in her later years she attended services at Jericho in Holyoke. She enjoyed horseracing and traveling. Virginia especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren Virginia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert R. Kallock in 2005. She leaves her loving children, Albert Kallock, Jr. of Pepperrell, MA and his late wife Ann, Michael N. Kallock and his wife Carrie of Longmeadow, Stephen R. Kallock and his wife Janice Fratus of North Andover, Leslie E. Donovan & her husband Edwin of Silver Spring, MD Joanne M. Navone and her husband Ron and Laura J. Kallock and her longtime companion David Rotella of Cranston, RI, her thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her brother Paul McCarthy, USN Retired. The funeral will be 8:30 AM Thursday at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld., followed by a 9:30 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine Street. The burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery.
