Obituary
Virginia “Ginny” S. Comery, 99, formerly of West Springfield, passed away peacefully on Sept 17, 2022 in Attleboro surrounded by her loving children. She was very active in the Mittineague Congregational Church for many years. Ginny was an avid golfer who loved to travel to California and doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years Franklin “Frank” Comery Sr. Ginny leaves behind her four children; Sandy Healy of Lompoc, CA., Frank (Debbie) Comery Jr., of Rocky River, OH., Linda Swellie of Strongsville, OH., and Nancy Kelly of Agawam, her nine grandchildren; Sherry, Matthew, Chip, Brynn, Andrew, Patrick, Erik, Michael and Meghan, along with her 13 great grandchildren, whom she adored, Austin, Alex, Ryan, Chloe, Carys, Cameron, Nicholas, Max, Nola, Jack, Wes, Aksel and Ezra. A Calling Hour will be held WEDS from 10 to 11 AM followed by a Service of Remembrance at 11 AM at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST., W. SPFLD. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Virginia’s name to the Hope Health Hospice, 1085 N. Main St., Providence, RI 02904 www.HopeHealthCo.org
