Walter J. Sacharczyk, 93 of Holyoke, passed awayTuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, at Baystate Hospital. Walter was born in Springfield on Sept. 30, 1930, the son of the late Luke and Catherine (Woods) Sacharczyk. He is also predeceased by his wife of 70 years Sandra (Meyrick) Sacharczyk and their son Richard Sacharczyk and Walter’s brother Steve Sacharczyk. He attended the Springfield Trade School. He was employed by several local oil companies as an oil burner technician. Punderson, Noonan, Auth, and Swett Brothers Oil Companies. Walter will be remembered for his love and the time that he gave to his family. He is survived by his daughter Shelley and her husband Lenny Nash, his sons Michal and Kenneth and his wife Denise, his grandchildren Amy Rozanski, Daniel Nash and his wife Shaina, Bella and Vicky Sacharczyk, Tyler and Brandon Sacharczyk. His great grandchildren Gia, Cora, Hudson, Savannah, and Aiden. He also leaves his sister Josie Nassar. Walter is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior and reunited with his wife Sandra and son Richard. Walters Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held in the Spring.
