Obituary
Walter Yezewski, 93, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at the Jewish Nursing Home. Born in Brocton, January 8, 1925, the son of the late John and Gladys (Komos) Yezewski. Walter was a graduate of Boston University receiving his degree in accounting. He worked at the Westvaco Company in West Springfield for many years as an accountant. Walter was a US Marine Corps Veteran during WWII. He was a communicant of St Thomas Church and a member of the West Springfield Senior Center. He was predeceased by his wife, Arlene (McCarthy) and his son, John in 2017. He leaves his son, Walter and his wife Linda of E. Longmeadow, his daughters, Clare Lamontagne and her husband Andrew Kraus of Chicopee and Jane Hamann of Granby, CT., his grandchildren, Daniel, Lisa, Emma and Elyse. Burial with military honors will be Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 3pm at the Mass Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
