William B. Hamby

Westfield, William B. Hamby, 88, died peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Soldiers� Home in Holyoke. He was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War and worked as an inspector for many area insurance companies. William was predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy (Webb) Hamby in February of this year. He is survived by his son Dr. Leigh S. Hamby and his wife Cathy, four grandchildren and one great grandson. His niece Paula Preston and her husband Phil. Burial with Military Honors will be Thursday at 3:00 pm in the MA Veterans� Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. Toomey O�Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
