William L Iscoll Jr

William “Bill” Driscoll Jr., 75, passed away Monday January 29, 2024. Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late William and Norma (Tutty) Driscoll. Bill was a graduate of West Springfield High School and attended STCC. He was a firefighter for the city of West Springfield for over 30 years. He was a Marine Corps Veteran during the Vietnam War and was a member of the K of C and the former commander of the VFW Post in West Springfield. He was an avid skier and golfer and loved to play pitch at the Tatham Social Club. He leaves his beloved wife, Joanne (Picano) Driscoll, his loving children, Kara Barenski and her husband David of Lenox, Kimberly of West Springfield (her partner Chris Breda passed away 3 months ago), and Brianne Driscoll of West Springfield, his beloved brother, Jack Driscoll and his wife Sandy of S. Carolina, his beloved grandchildren, Madeline and Emily, his sisters in law, Sharon Driscoll and Donna O’Neil, brother in law, John Picano and his wife Donna and several nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, David. A funeral home service will be held Friday February 9 at noon from the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield with burial to follow in the Mass Veteran’s Cem in Agawam. A calling hour will be from 11-12. Donations may be made to the Mass Vets Cemetery Honor Guard 1390 Main St Agawam, MA 01001.
