William J. Jensen, Jr.

West Springfield- William Joseph Jensen, Jr., 77, of Westfield Street passed away Tuesday at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on March 26th, 1937 in Springfield to the late Gladys (LaMountain) and William J. Jensen, Sr. He lived in West Springfield most of his life and was a 1955 graduate of West Springfield High School. William worked as a Supervisor at Longview Fiber and earlier at Diamond International. He loved bingo, the casinos and the beach. He also enjoyed his many trips to Florida and he was an avid hockey fan. William was the loving husband of 39 yrs. to Mary A. (Turner) Jensen, beloved father of William J. Jensen II, Barry Jensen, Edward Cerez, and Philip Cerez and his wife Christine, caring brother of Anne Nelson, Ronald Jensen, Phillip Jensen, Brian Jensen, Dennis Eaton, and Bruce Eaton, devoted grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 3, and leaves several nieces and nephews. There will be a Funeral Home Service Saturday at 6:30 PM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield. Calling hours will precede the service on Saturday from 4-6:30PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in William�s name may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
