William J. Sweeney

West Springfield- William �Liam� James Sweeney entered eternal rest Saturday, November 7th. He was born in Springfield on November 3rd, 2015 and spent the four days of his life surrounded by the love of his family. He was the cherished son of John R. and Kimberly A. (Riley) Sweeney of West Springfield, beloved brother of Madelyn M. and Patrick R. Sweeney, cherished grandson of Raymond J. Sweeney and the late Rita M. Sweeney and Ann Marie Riley and the late Lawrence G. Riley. Liam will also leave many caring aunts, uncles, and cousins. Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements and all services at the funeral home will be private. There will be a Liturgy of Christian Burial open to the public at 11 AM Saturday, November 21st at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church, 475 Main Street, West Springfield. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Liam�s family would like to thank Dr. Disandro, all the doctors and nurses at Wesson Women�s 2 and especially the NICU Unit at Baystate Medical Center for all their care during our stay.
