He was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Spfld. and was a longtime member of the West Springfield Historical Commission. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and proudly served his country in Korea during the Korean War. Loving husband of 42 years to Andrea "Annie" R. (Glasser) Whitney, beloved brother of Pat Klime of Watervliet, NY, and caring uncle of Donald Klime of Delmar, NY, Beth Place of Watervliet, NY and Kathy Ferarro of CT beloved great uncle of Christopher Place of Watervliet, NY and Mitchell Klime of Delmar, NY. Uncle Bill will live in their hearts forever. There will be a Mass in Bill’s memory Wednesday February 14, 2018 7pm at St Thomas Church in West Spfld.
