Obituary
Yvette Rosa "Cookie" Robichaud, 88, passed away March 17, 2018, at the Suffield House in Suffield, CT. She was born January 30, 1930, in Onawa, ME, the daughter of the late Doriala and Alice (Trudel) Gagnon and is survived by two sisters, Lucille Duhaime and Marguerita Farrell and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Rita Ferry, Simone Ward, Roland Gagnon, and Rene Gagnon. Cookie was a communicant of St Thomas Church and was a school cafeteria worker for over 20 years. She also owned and operated Bob’s Repair Shop with her husband for many years and was a wonderful cook and loved to crochet. The funeral will be held Wednesday 10:30 from the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11am from St Thomas Church with burial in St Thomas Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9:30-10:30 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Food Bank of Western Mass or St Jude Children’s Hospital.
