Aline Irene DeRaleau was born on July 28, 1931 in West Springfield, MA. She was the daughter of Charles Z. and Aline I. (Adams) DeRaleau. She was predeceased by her brothers, Roger L. and Paul P. DeRaleau. Aline graduated from Cathedral High School in 1946. She was employed at the New England Telephone Company for over 30 years and was an active member of the Telephone Pioneers during her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Springfield. Among her many hobbies, she was a talented painter having displayed her paintings in various places in the Springfield area. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, golfing, going to the casino and being with her family and friends. She leaves her two nieces, Diane M. Russel of Feeding Hills and Pauline A. McCarthy and her husband Daniel of West Springfield, her nephew Steven DeRaleau and his wife Janet of Lake Forest, IL, along with many great-nieces and great-nephews, and her dear friend Teresa Dufour of Easthampton, MA. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church followed by a burial at St. Thomas Cemetery.
