Gertrude M. (Mason) Ryan, 87, passed away March 13, 2021. Born in West Springfield, September 8, 1933, the daughter of the late Orville and Helen (Berge) Mason. Gertrude worked in many restaurants for several years. Her beloved husband, Lester W. Ryan Jr. died in 1995. She leaves her beloved children, Lester W. Ryan III and his wife Donna-Jean of Springfield, David of Agawam, Gertrude Raymond of Dallas, GA. and Charlene Dudas and her husband Peter of Springfield, her beloved siblings, Charles Mason of Spring Hill, FL. and Doris Krynicki of West Springfield, her 11 beloved grandchildren, her 19 beloved great grandchildren and her 3 beloved great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Mark in 2002 and her granddaughter Melissa Grenon in 2017, her daughter in law, Shellie in 2020 and son in law Ronald Raymond in 2013. A walk-through calling hour will be from 10-11 am Thursday March 18, 2021 at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St with a private service to follow. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
