Obituary

Patricia A. Mergerian 90, passed away unexpectedly on April 12, 2022. She was born November 4, 1931. She was raised in West Springfield by Walter and Mary King and graduated from West Springfield High School. Pat was an avid reader and also enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping and her trips to Maine with her family. She especially enjoyed getting together with her family for the holidays. Pat was predeceased by her husband John “Vod” Mergerian on March 24, 2007. She leaves her loving daughters; Cynthia F. Pleau of W. Spfld, Mary Ann Garza and her husband Michael of San Antonio, TX, and Beth Gualberto and her husband Fernando of Chicopee, her son Jay Mergerian of West Springfield, her two grandsons Matthew Pleau and wife Megan and Chantz Bennefield, her brothers Eugene and Jackie Frey. Pat was also predeceased by her brother Walter Frey. Pat also leaves her beloved furry family Bella and Cooper. Funeral Services will be held THURS at 11 AM at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. A Calling Hour will be held 10 to 11 AM.
