Peter Charles Robillard, 75, passed away on October 28, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. Peter was born on September 5, 1946 in Burlington, VT, the son of the late Paul and Anita Robillard. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1964 and received his master’s in business administration and bachelor’s degree in Business from Western New England College. A veteran of the Vietnam War, Peter served in the U.S. Navy. He retired as a senior director at Siemens IT Solutions & Service where he developed and mentored countless leaders across the globe and had previously worked as program manager at Digital Equipment Corporation. Peter was a member of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in West Springfield. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret “Peggy” (Calnen) Robillard, his three daughters, Kristin Robillard and Andrea Brooks of Colchester, VT, Meredith and husband Daniel Snider of Hoboken, NJ and their children, Claire and Jenna, and Andrea and husband Matthew Bohr of Basking Ridge, NJ, and their children Alexander and Sophie. He is survived by his siblings, Sister Paula Robillard, SSJ, Cindy and Ray Smith, Gail Bordua, Maryellen and Michael Caron, Tina and Ted Ryan, and David and Donna Robillard. He is also survived by his three sisters-in-law, Jean Calnen, Sue and Roger Landry, and Marianne Calnen. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law William Calnen. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
Peter enjoyed vacationing each summer at Camp Pinehurst on Malletts Bay and cherished spending time with family and friends. He was known for his love of world travel, good food and wine, golf, and Clemson football.
Calling hours for Peter will be held on, Tuesday November 2,2021 from 4 to 7 PM at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST, WEST SPRINGFIELD. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 10 AM at Toomey-O’Brien followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine Street, West Springfield. A Committal Ceremony will follow at the St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, 420 Kings Highway, West Springfield.
