He and Jane raised three children who surrounded Dick with love and laughter throughout his life and in his final moments. Dick was an avid outdoorsman. He and his beloved wife Jane spent many summers at Camp Overflow in Otis, fishing and hosting friends, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed cruises, watching NASCAR, Publishers Clearing House magazines, casinos and Florida.
Above all else Dick was strong, and stubborn, and his resoluteness helped his family weather every storm that came to pass over the years. A Graveside Service was held privately for the family in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Cancer House of Hope, 1999 Westfield St., W. Spfld, MA 01089.
